Privacy Policy

Symptom Kids stores your family’s health log on your device first. The only data that reaches our servers is what keeps your household in sync, plus photos if you choose to turn on Plus photo backup. We never show ads, never sell data, and there are no advertising or tracking SDKs in the app.

Everything you log — symptoms, temperatures, medicine doses, and notes — is stored on your phone and works fully offline. Photos you attach stay on your device unless you turn on the optional Plus photo backup described below.

When you invite another caregiver to your household, we sync your children’s profiles (name, date of birth, weight, and allergies), log entries, and medicine doses through our server. That is what lets both parents see the same timeline and dose reminders. We use this data only to run the sync — never for advertising, profiling, or sale.

Photos are backed up to our cloud only when you turn on the optional photo-backup setting in Symptom Kids Plus. Until you do, photos never leave your device. You can turn backup off at any time.

In-app analytics is opt-in only, and never includes personal details or anything from your health log. Crash reports are scrubbed of personal data before they leave your phone, and you can turn them off in the app’s settings.

This website may use privacy-first, cookieless analytics to count visits — with no persistent identifiers and nothing stored on your device. If you join the waitlist we store your email address for one purpose: telling you when the app launches.

No ads. No selling or renting data. No advertising or tracking SDKs. Your child’s health history never touches an ad network, and sharing beyond your household is always explicit — a caregiver you invite or a summary you hand your doctor.
